Lonya Nenashev
Lonya started his career more than 37 years ago in the former Soviet Union, becoming one of the most prominent live sound engineers in the concert industry. Today, Lonya resides in Madison, Wisconsin where he is in great demand as a sound engineer. Through Red Square Audio, Lonya offers a variety of concert audio systems and recording options for numerous local musicians and venues. Known as "the man who can fix anything," he works for major recording studios in the region and provides independent sound system design, installation, and repair services.


Shawn McLoughlin
Shawn McLoughlin got started in pro audio at a young age starting mixing at church in middle school and continued on since then. Shawn has worked with many National bands as well as many local bands in the Wisconsin area. He has been nominated several times for Best Live Sound Engineer at the Madison Area Music awards. In addition to live sound engineering Shawn has expanded his talents to production lighting as well as live recording. 





Alena Holmes, Ph.D.
Instructor and Music Education Consultant 
Alena is an associate professor and the Coordinator of Music Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Originally from Belarus, Alena Holmes started her career in her native country where she taught general music, choir, music theory and piano, worked as a musician and singer with popular bands and concert organizations and had numerous appearances on popular Belarusian TV and radio shows. She then worked as a music teacher, singer and musician in China, Bahrain, Italy and the United States.

Alena Holmes, Ph.D.
Instructor and Music Education Consultant 

Alena is an associate professor and the Coordinator of Music Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She is also a founder of Music Creativity Laboratory where she teaches early childhood music, voice, piano, modern band, composition and songwriting classes.   Originally from Belarus, Alena Holmes started her career in her native country where she taught general music, choir, music theory and piano, worked as a musician and singer with popular bands and concert organizations and had numerous appearances on popular Belarusian TV and radio shows. She then worked as a music teacher, singer and musician in China, Bahrain, Italy and the United States. An active teacher, clinician, researcher and musician, Dr. Holmes has given over 60 presentations and published over 20 articles in multiple national and international journals. In addition to her research and teaching, Alena Holmes is a singer and songwriter performing in educational, professional, and community contexts throughout US.
